Model Archive – Schonheit

Schonheit is German, however this brand is a Japanese one.

The mother company is Touritsu-seika, Established after WWII, it was a shoe component supply company originally, and gradually transformed to shoemaking.

In 1962, the shoe company became independent and made private labels for other brands, such as Regal.

Its own brand, Schonheit (German, beauty) debuted in 2004.

The sole express quite strong American flavour. The upper uses Japanese local leather, and construction is Goodyear welted for 240 USD.

Price wise, it is good, but let us first have a look at its models.

Remark

Buying made in Japan shoes at this price and Goodyear welted is tempting, but the leather quality is a concern as most high end or even entry level shoe brands all over the world are using French or German leather. Style wise, very American and some Italian, not so into me.
