Adam Law is a wonderful English bespoke shoemaker who trained in George Cleverley as last maker for many years, now he sets up his own atelier and offers quite iconic and interesting bespoke shoes.

James Taylor & Son is the bespoke shoemaker in England, however this pair is not bespoke but Goodyear welted in China. The history I have written about the founder ZHANG Dong and the interview with current owner of James Taylor & Son. In this article, we only focus on the shoes. The shoes are actually made by the same factory of Mattina, and the last was developed by the very respected bespoke shoemaker in Shenyang China, Jinzi Huang.

I am not sure how many people have heard the name of Henry Maxwell as there is not too much information on the internet even it has a long history with very few peers. The reason is its mere existence does not attract many coverage of the media. It has a website, but with very little information, even bespoke service is directed to Foster & Son because both share same bespoke team.
If there is any difference between these two shoemakers, it is Foster & Son focus on shoes, and Henry Maxwell boots. But this line is not strict and customers always can have what they want on either label, that is how it is called bespoke in the first place.

Nicholas Templeman may not be very familiar to many shoe aficionados, but his experience are very prestigious. He worked as lastmaker in John Lobb London for 7 years, and now takes his own adventure. As an independent bespoke shoemaker, he has gained great reputation around the world.
