In shoe aficionados’ eyes, John Lobb or Edward Green may be the best English shoes, but in American’s eyes, or for most outsider of this circle, Church’s is the best.

The reasons are different, for American, Church’s is the first one they can see in the US as early as 1920s. And for fashion consumers, Church’s belongs to Prada.

Model Archive – Joseph Malinge

There has been no new article in this series for a long time, mainly because all the meaningful brands have been introduced. With the decrease of the heat of dress shoes, the emergence of new brands is relatively rare at home and abroad.

However, this brand is really not a new brand. It has been making shoes since 1889.

It made Crocos style shoes without holes at the beginning.

At present, it is the fourth generation family business.

Joseph Malinge is proud of made in France. Frankly speaking, in the clothing industry, this is really a good stunt.

The brand characteristics of shoes are not obvious. Most lasts and styles are not exciting, but a few pairs are very cool!

Model Archive – Oct Tenth

Formerly known as TGC in China, Oct Tenth has become the best value brands in the whole world, and value does not mean cheap, Oct Tenth just give bespoke level craftsmanship at the price of medium RTW European brands.

TGC used to run at a MTO basis, so the models are countless however never iconic, after Oliver Tang retook the title of production director, we see this brand on the right track, at least as a Ready To Wear brand.

Here, I record all its models and keep up to date. Some models do not yet have names, so I leave them out.
