Although WEN Tao is not a shoemaker, as a cobbler, he has become a name that cannot be ignored among all leather shoes lovers.
When someone wants to resole, install toe plate and attach rubber piece to the outsole, it is impossible not to think of him at the first time, because his work is the finest and best.
In 2023, he joined the Oct Tenth team.
I think as a media to promote sewing shoes/gentleman shoes/handmade shoes (I most approve of the first one, not emphasizing craftsmanship, but emphasizing its durability and sustainability), it is not a flag-waving cry for the brand, or where there is discount information, it should always be settled on people. Practitioners, consumers and bystanders are the subjects that make the circle of an article more vivid.

Model Archive – Oct Tenth
Formerly known as TGC in China, Oct Tenth has become the best value brands in the whole world, and value does not mean cheap, Oct Tenth just give bespoke level craftsmanship at the price of medium RTW European brands.
TGC used to run at a MTO basis, so the models are countless however never iconic, after Oliver Tang retook the title of production director, we see this brand on the right track, at least as a Ready To Wear brand.
Here, I record all its models and keep up to date. Some models do not yet have names, so I leave them out.

An Interview with Oliver Tang, Product Director of Oct Tenth
Oliver Tang (TANG Cheng) is not particularly famous in the circle of dress shoe enthusiasts, because he is very low-key and puts his heart and soul into the products.
His experience in the industry is not particularly rich. He has only worked in two companies, but the products of these two companies can really represent the top level of classic dress shoes in China.
In 2023, he returned to Oct Tenth team, and made an impressive upgrade to the product.
At the same time, he was willing to be interviewed for the first time.

Metropolitan Collection from Oct Tenth

Unboxing Resmon from Oct Tenth
Oct Tenth is so well known both domestically and globally. Cooperating with Sons of Henrey, relying on super high cost performance, it has won a large number of fans. Oct Tenth is the best brand in the Chinese shoe industry, with superb specification and amazing price.
Oct Tenth mainly offers Made to Order service, that is, receiving orders and starting production. There are not many stocks on the market.
This model is named after a reader Resmon Liu, and actually based on Edward Green Clapham. It is a model that Resmon asked Oct Tench to replicate, and at the same time loves to show.

2022 Joint Limited Edition FP X Oct Tenth Appreciation
You read that right, it’s the 2022 limited edition, but the shoes are only now available on sale.
To emphasize the specification again, handwelted, bevelled waist, branded lasted shoe tree, German Geberei Martin oak bark tanned leather outsole, Triumph toe plate. By any definition, the spec is top notch.
What about the model? It’s a replica of bespoke shoes by John Lobb St James.
