HMH is a classic menswear bespoke studio, located on the Bund in Shanghai. More than a year passed before I made time to follow up and visit again.

HMH was originally in Ruikang apartment, but later the landlord took it back for his own use and moved to Riverside Building, separated from Ruikang apartment by a post and telecommunications museum.

Just a short section of Suzhou River, from west to east, is located the Fujian Road and Bridge, Henan Road and Bridge, Sichuan North Road Bridge and Zhapu Road and Bridge with the same long history … The old and the new are mixed and unique.

DINGTAI Shanghai

DINGTAI is a very famous bespoke tailoring house founded in Beijing.

DINGTAI seldom targeted suit enthusiasts, but even W.W.Chan Shanghai can’t match the turnover.

LIU Fuhan, the founder of DINGTAI, does a lot of sharing in Red. His sharing is the most grounded in this circle I have ever seen, and he can say everything he knows. Why can you do this? Because of self-confidence, because he knows that DINGTAI doesn’t need to rely on information difference to make money.

I have known for a long time that the owner of this coffee shop featuring shoeshine. I had the oppoturnity to have conversation with Don in Nanjing and at the China Trunk Show in 2021. Even the runner-up in the shoeshine competition is a shoeshine professional in this store.

Until last month, I was lucky enough to come to this unique shoeshine coffee shop in Shanghai, China.

I believe my readers all know Stile Renaissance, which is regarded as the purest Florentine style bespoke tailoring house in Shanghai. For Chinese bespoke tailoring, style is nothing more than the owner himself very appreciates and then gradually imitates. Stile Renaissance’s initial imitation was Liverano & Liverano, arguably the most well-known Florentine store.

Is Wiracetas Bespoke?

Wiracetas is a Shanghai based dress shoe brand that I only came into contact with last year. It operates a physical store for several years in Shanghai already, and the founder Qiu Wuping is a super veteran of the industry. More than ten years ago, in the era when it was easiest to make money in everyone’s mouth, he made a fortune by making Goodyear shoes.
