My Shoe Collection – Yanko
I used to think this brand is Russian, but in fact, it was the most dominant giant in Spanish shoemaking industry.
Yanko story was covered and its factory now also host the production of TLB Mallorca. So you bet its quality is not bad.

Ready To Wear Map – Spain
Spain was not a base of shoes historically, however, due to the ever-increasing price of English shoemakers, Spain finds a good place in the market and tons of brands popped out, from Carmina to Meermin, and the earlier Yanko. Later TLB Mallorca is the darling. Not to mention that brands around the world are using the factories in Almansa.
Spanish shoes are famous for their value and the designs are mostly classic, raw materials are all at the high level.

My Shoe Collection – A2127 from Lottusse
Lottusse is a shoe factory in Spain with great heritage, the year 1877 under the trademark is not false. In the 90s, Yanko was the super master of Spanish shoemaking, and now Carmina and Meermin under the Pujas family are in full swing. TLB Mallorca is also unstoppable. With some many competitors and newcomers, Lottusse is still alive and prosperous.
Compared to the popular ones, the styles of Lottusse are traditional, not too much following of current trend, and at the same time it does not bother to launch a premium collection to implant higher craftsmanship, which may be the reason for the current tepid state.

If I ask you to tell which country this brand comes from, what is the answer?
The founder is Javier Navalón, I think that is a great hint, the answer is Spain.
The region is La Mancha which is not as famous as Almansa or Mallorca. Javier claims his family worked in shoe industry since 1960s, and this brand is to offer something more unique.

A Spanish shoe factory established in 1913, the current owner is the founder’s grandson. It manufactures private labels for many famous brands including Lof & Tung, Sons and Henrey and J.FitzPatrick and many more.
The factory released its own brand to the market just like Carlos Santos has done.
Price is around 270 euro, good value.
