Unboxing Takano Keitaro X Thom Wills

It’s definitely a film that gets better since the beginning, trust me.

So far, three readers have told me that the shoes co-branded by Thom Wills and Keitaro Takano are very comfortable to wear. I don’t think the brand is well known (I mean Takano Keitaro in China) or sells much, so how come three people have this same statement?

Anyway, I’ll take a pair.

Unboxing Court Loafer Bothell from J.FitzPatrick

Loafers were deemed too casual by me and now they are my workhorse in almost every season, man is really capricious. From common to rare in the market, the order is: Penny Loafer, Tassel Loafer, Butterfly Loafer, Kiltie Loafer and Court Slipper. Frankly, I suspect even many shoe enthusiasts know more than the first two, and the last one is even rarer today as it is too elegant to don on the street. J.FitzPatrick disagrees. Bothell is its fight back to make court loafer great again.

This is a pair of NOS, New Old Stock, although New, but staying in the inventory for a while.

After buying, I wish I could slap myself in the face with shoes that I couldn’t possibly wear.

Marketing can be very vicious sometimes, a few points touch you and make you spend money that shouldn’t be spent.

Let’s see what I did.

Unboxing Wine Shadow Loafer Spade from Carlos Santos

When we talk about the color of dress shoes, black comes first. The second place, I think it should be dark brown, and the third place, it is burgundy. Red sounds contradictory, won’t it be too eye-catching? But deep wine shadow like No. 8 color of Horween shell cordovan is very versatile, on loafers, I am afraid that the status is even above dark brown. Because we wear loafers in summer, the color of the clothes will not be too dark or too formal, and black is a little strange. The formality of burgundy is just right, and it is not too eye-catching.
