Badia is a Chinese Shoemaker from Qingdao city, Shandong province. After studying and working in Stefano Bemer studio in Italy for three years, its founder JIANG Daoyuan returned to China and founded this brand.

In the 2024 World Shoe Competition, Badia Aria team won the third place. The shoe did not take the road of exaggerated craftsmanship, but chose the elements of Florence Bridge in the upper design, and added a drawer design to the heel. Daoyuan said that at that time, the head of Stefano Bemer bespoke department was Japanese Akira Tani, so the shoes they made were not traditional Italian rough craftsmanship, but according to Japanese precision. With such requirements, making shoes is extremely exhausting and psychologically stressful, but it is indeed that hard time taught the solid basic skills.

Badia Studio is located on the first floor of a residential area in Laoshan District. There is a big yard, and the green lawn in the yard makes people cheer up. On a day that is not too hot, whether it is two cane chairs, chatting in the sun or dragging the table out at night, drinking Tsingtao beer to say that life is vibrant and expecting, it is really an experience.

Walking into the living room, the whole white feeling is very gentle. Opposite the big sofa, there are some shoes on display, and these shoes can be sold. Daoyuan undertook the huge task of developing shoe last and styles, but he was willing to spend almost all day communicating with his friends.
