Not the most famous shoemaker (RTW) in England, but undoubtedly with longest history, Joseph Tricker founded Tricker’s in 1829.
Tricker’s factory lies at St. Michael 56-60 eversince its establishment in 1904.
In the beginning of 20 century, Joseph’s son in law, Walter James Barltrop brought Goodyear technique from the US, making Tricker’s the first English shoemaker adopting this advanced manufacturing method.
In so many years, Trickers focus on one thing and becomes the best, country shoes.
Certainly these iconic shoes are copied time and time, however the original ones stand high up and received Royal Warrant of Prince of Wales in 1989.
Current production includes two categories, Country shoes, Country boots, Weekend shoes, City shoe and Slippers.
Conclusion
Models are not too many to its long history, and very rooted to English tradition, no matter country shoes or city shoes, I love this brand.
