切斯特大衣是所有大衣的爷爷。也就是说，它是世界上第一款大衣。或者说是有记载，有史可查的大衣。虽然始终还有些众说纷纭，但是确定的是，第六世彻斯特伯爵，George Stanhope于19世纪发明了这款衣服。

这个名字翻译很容易，虽然说见到过的人肯定不多。就是警卫大衣。一开始当然是为了这个职业，后来大家都可以穿，而且，算是大衣里面比较正式的款式。长度方面的要求，和Ulster Coat也是一致的。

Classic men’s coat Duffle Coat
