Miyagi Kogyo was founded in 1941 by request of Japanese Military, and the first factory which imported Goodyear machine. After war, it started to produce shoes for Baker.
Barker is almost unseen in Japan market now, but Miyagi Kogyo is prosperous.

Remark
Its reputation is two folds, someone says it is the Japanese Edward Green, the others say the shoes are low quality. For the photos I see, they are very good with contemporary taste.
