You read that right, it’s the 2022 limited edition, but the shoes are only now available on sale.
To emphasize the specification again, handwelted, bevelled waist, branded lasted shoe tree, German Geberei Martin oak bark tanned leather outsole, Triumph toe plate. By any definition, the spec is top notch.
What about the model? It’s a replica of bespoke shoes by John Lobb St James.
Let’s take a look.
Very old-school loafer with an extreme large round toe, then a long tongue that covers more of the instep, and an elastic band underneath for easy putting on and taking off. The penny strip and heel are a piece of leather, which are exclusive to the market.
Branded lasted shoe tree.
I didn’t seem to care much about this before, but now I look at my shoes, it seems that most of them have branded lasted shoe tree. What an irony.
It’s a design improvement, and the original version is a “bandage”, I really don’t like that element and changed it to a straight seam.
Very high stitch density.
Toe plate is by default.
Bevelled waist with unique limited serial number. The highest-grade oak bark tanned leather sole from Geberei Martin.
Maybe I haven’t talked about too much details, but the value is so clear and I don’t believe anyone can resist it.
