Which country is the biggest dress shoe market? The answer is Japan. Because when dress code is loosen all around the world, Japanese love to wear dress shoes still.
So if you ask many high end dress shoe brands which country is their focus beside its own country, the answer is Japan.
But as domestic manufacturers, bespoke shoemakers are more well known and Ready to Wear is less competitive.
42nd Royal Highland actually began as a select shoe shop and quickly released its own label.
As almost every Japanese brand, a lot of collections inside: Exclusive collection made in Japan, Navy collection in China. Next is Explorer collection, Norwegese construction made in China. The mainline bear the name of the brand. lastly Transfer collection containing sleek loafers and sneakers, probably cemented.
Navy cost 450 USD and Exclusive 650 USD.
I only collect Exclusive models as the models are too many if all are included.
Remark
The shoes look very luxury and the design is exquisite. I don’t have the opportunity to put my hands on one pair so details cannot be judged. But I am still interested.
