For dress shoe brand, John Lobb Paris is undoubtedly appropriate as they are in the same group, both chart the top level in their field. Model wise, the most elegant double monk Chapel is my choice.
Louis Vuitton Speedy vs Berluti Andy
Louis Vuitton Speedy was released in 1930, and the original width is 30 cm. 25 version was exclusively for Audrey Hepburn. This certainly rocketed its fame.
Since we are talking about Louis Vuitton, we definitely choose the brand under the same umbrella, Berluti. Berluti has two icons, one is the wholecut Alessandro, the other penny loafer Andy. Andy is clearly more practical, just like the speedy.
Launer Traviata vs Church’s Consul
This brand is not so famous, but even it is, it is famous only for one and by one, the Queen. of course, the queen’s mother also loved Launer. The almost eternal choice of the queen is Traviata.
There are so many English shoe brands, but classic while loves patent leathers, I can only pick Church’s. Model wise, the most conservative, Consul.
Gucci Jackie vs Stefano Bemer 6610
When released in 1958, the model is called G1907 with no clear meaning to the wide audience. Then American first lady Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy favored this model, Gucci just caught the fire and renamed it to Jackie. Now, it is more like a collection than a model.
Italian brand, so classic and changeable, I choose Stefano Bemer 6610.
Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag vs Magnanni Side Scar
Maybe the most young model in the list, so rebellious, and so into the younger generation. When it just hit the market, no one wanted it, so Balenciaga only had to send them free to super models, then bang, it is the most popular bags in the street！
Although Balenciaga’s headquarter is in Paris, it is a purely Spanish brand. So outstanding and originai, I choose Magnanni with its iconic Side Scar models!
Mulberry Bayswater vs Tricker’s Stow
This English brand is not as famous as the above, but it does not hinder it presenting the very iconic model, Bayswater.
Bayswater is quite rough and outdoor, so Tricker’s Stow is the perfect match.
Chanel 2.55 No Match
Debuted in 1955, conversion from a clutch to a handbag. Karl Lagerfeld took the throne of Chanel creative director then added a rotating CC buckle to make this bag even more iconic.
In French shoemaking, Aubercy and Corthay are on par with Berluti, but this soft, tender and elegant 2.55 finds no match, as they are too aggressive.
