A brand full of stories.
Stefano Branchini was born in 1953 and became a shoemaker at a young age, then he worked in a.testoni and grabbed the title of creative director at 25 years old. I think it says his talent is amazing.
In 1989, he quit from a.testoni and founded StefanoBi, except selling its own brand, the workshop made a lot of shoes for designer brands, and most famous among which is Berluti. The others include Givenchy and Dior.
LVMH bought the factory and the label in 1994, so Berluti now are made inhouse in Italy.
The second year, restless Stefano Branchini set up a new brand, Branchini, and this time, only focus on its own brand.
The current offerings include mens shoes, ladies shoes and bags.
The bag cost 2000 Euro for each, and everyone can tell which brand it is copying.
Shoes have three collections, Casual, Classic and Exclusive.
Casual is sneakers and patina sports shoes.
Classic does not mean classic here, but the most aggressively designed shoes. Price is aroud 490 to 590 Euro, and construction are Blake or Norwegese, very seldom Goodyear.
Exclusive collection should be handwelted but the price jumps to 1900 Euro.
Models in Classic and Exclusive are commonly used.
Although each shoe have a model name, but many duplication and a lot of mess.
Let us have a look at its models.
Remark
A very design focused brand, each model is eye opening. And there are two flavors, one is Berluti the like, the other is the powerful Roman style.
Classic collection price is very reasonable, if you like the super awesome design, buy them!
