The currently hot Italian shoe brands we are discussing are in fact quite young in this country with very strong shoemaking history, and some old brands are quite silent. Don’t think they are not competitive, they are and they prospered.
Gravati is a brand very much alike Romano Martegani, its heyday is in 1980s, gained so much following in the US, and not because it is fashion, but high quality.
The construction is mainly Blake and Blake Rapid, and Bolognese and Goodyear are also offered. All the comments to Gravati are they are so soft that no break in is needed.
The brand was founded in 1909, and till today, makes shoes only when received orders. After so many years operation, the models are not too many, I think these are the best sellers and classics in their eyes.
Let us check its models.
Remark
I think I can get a lot of inspirations from its models and this is a compliment.
