Schubert is the most traditional and convention model offered by Viennese bespoke shoemaker Maftei.
The model name tells everything as Franz Schubert may be one the greatest classic musicians, and this pair of shoe is also the epitome of classic elegance.

The last is Alexandru, the given name of Mr. Maftei, the founder and shoemaker. It is a very slender last and not really for Asian.
Pattern
Brogued Cap Toe Oxford.
What is the colour? Brown? Not exactly, some purple penetrated out.
How this colour is achieved, I don’t know, but it is more noble than ordinary dark brown.
The design of the upper is very brief, except for the area around the Cap Toe and shoelaces, there is no seam anywhere, such as the heel.
Seamless heel is very elegant.
Why it is named Schubert? Because such an elegant pair of slender Oxford with sparse Brogue gives people an artistic and classical feeling, and Schubert is of course a representative figure of Austrian classical music.
Craftsmanship
It is the only available wood pegging construction in the market.
It is pointless to argue about whether wood pegging is not as good as Goodyear or Blake. I think this construction is disappearing just like cement method is eliminating Goodyear, but it has its aesthetic value.
