I introduced two methods to remove creases on leather dress shoes, one is high-temperature blow and the other water emersion. Today’s method is a modified version of water immersion, that is, the wet wipe method. Today I take my own shoes to try the effect.

Although the creases are very deep, but the leather condition is quite good with great oil saturation and sheen.
Wet wipes are the most common home used ones, I prepared two pieces so that the moisture is a more adequate. (I noticed afterwards that the teacher used three pieces, and I still don’t have enough moisture).
Not wet enough.
Place the wet wipes on top of the shoe tree.
Insert the wet wipe covered shoe tree into the shoe.
Then lace up the shoes so that they stay in perfect position. Put them in a cool place.
After a week, see the results.
The effect is very obvious. Notice this state is without shoe tree inside and the crease was obviously reduced.
But there are also side effects, look at the leather.
The leather is a bit drier than before the operation.
But it is easy to tackle with a little of Saphir M’Dor Renovateur.
Summary
This method is easy to use and genuinely effective. Although the leather will dry a little, but a little conditioner is enough to counter. Although I left it for a week, I think the moisture of two wipes may be gone in just 2 days, so if you try it next time, use a few more.
