Weritas Atelier has been the leader in the field of customer shoes with foot mould, and it is still improving the production silently. It is really promising that this brand will become a representative bespoke shoemaker in China.
The last was innovated recently, and then a pair of boots were sent to me for tasting.
I have to say that the last does have a taste, and the shoes are also very clear to a higher level!

Unboxing
The texture of the green shoe box, the font, size and gold colour of the logo can be said to be a very perfect brand.
This form of packaging is still a little too crude.
Dark green shoe bag corresponds with brand colour perfectly.
Although I have been paying attention to Weritas Atelier, I don’t know that its brand building has been done so well now.
When I took my shoes out of the shoe bag, I threw the shoe bag aside, but I immediately picked it up again. Why? Because of the weighty and silky touch, I exclaimed, hey, this shoe bag is really gorgeous!
Last
The last has evolved and the flavor is gradually emerging.
The elongation and size (width) of the round toe speak Italian. However, if you pay attention to the forefoot, you will find that the style of another region is integrated.
This angle should be the best answer to this question, who will you think of? Saint Crispin’s and Zonkey Boot. Yes, it’s the Austro-Hungarian style.
Saint Crispin’s and Zonkey Boot are not pure or classical Austro-Hungarian styles, but are heavily blended with Italian flavor.
My take is 30% Austria-Hungary and 70% Italy.
Weritas Atelier was originally the Italian flavor blended with Chinese aesthetical taste, and now it is 65% Italy, 20% Austria-Hungary and 15% China.
What are the benefits of this last? It is not for the so-called integration of certain regional characteristics, but for the overall aesthetic feeling and relatively smooth and relaxed sense of lines.
The original slender Italian-flavored last is more suitable for formal and even aggressive shoes, while the new L2 last enhances the outdoor leisure feeling and makes the wearing scene more everyday.
It is appropriate to take this picture as the end of the evolutionary last. The left foot tells more about Austria and Hungary, while the right foot sticks to Italy.
Leather
This may be the most important reason why I said that Weritas Atelier shoes have reached a higher level.
The essence of Bespoke shoes is suitable for guests and conforms to his aesthetics. But, obviously, it has a social attribute. What is it? Privilege. I wear bespoke shoes, and my status is higher.
So if you want to convey this message simply and rudely, what is the most convenient form? Awesome leather.
Shark skin may not be more luxurious than crocodile skin, but it is scarce!
This kind of rough texture, extremely classic colour and topic arous-ability are all eagerly awaited!
Paired with boots, you can’t go wrong.
Outsole
Vibram Eton rubber sole is very good functionally. Moreover, Weritas Atelier has a technological feature on the rubber sole, that is, there are three nails on heel.
However, the choice of this rubber sole is not the optimal solution. Because Vibram Eton rubber sole is probably the most formal and light option and it is more suitable for formal shoes.
It would be better if a rougher Commando sole can be used.
Craftsmanship
Needless to say, the handwelted construction. Then Storm Welt. Here is another point worth discussing.
High stitch density matches fudge is worthy of praise. However, for the boots with storm welt and shark skin, this stitch density is too delicate!
However, for the workshop, especially if equipment is used, whether to adjust different parameters for each model or even different leather, the answer is mostly no, which will bring fluctuations and product instability.
Therefore, the degree of product completion is really a place where you can make infinite progress.
