Maybe the best known French brand in the world? Many may say Berluti or Corthay, but its whopping price set away many one interested in. Paraboot’s unique aesthetics pave the way to please both dress shoes wearer and causal style.
The initial purpose of the founder, Rémy-Alexis Richard is to make durable dress shoes in 1908. At that time, no rubber sole is invented, so he cut the leather sole into jigsaw shape then attached another layer to achieve the target.
When rubber sole faced the market, Paraboot is the first one to happily implement.
But what the founder liked to make is the not one public loved, but the accidental causal boots and hiking boots brought great fame to Paraboot.
In 1940s, the iconic model, Michael hit the market and this model has been copied time and time again by countless other brands.
Once you reach the peak, the only way is going down, and Paraboot went too deep and claimed bankrupt in 1980s and acquired by the current owner.
Let us have a look at its models.
