I enjoy very much looking at the catalogue of many brands. It reminds how innovative each brand is.
Carlos Santos has much more interesting models than everyone thinks, which is mainly due to its experience in making private label for French brands.
Below ones attracts me a lot.
I don’t particularly like boots, maybe because I wear more formal clothes, and boots are a little sporty.
What attracted me to this pair is that the upper sewing technology that Derby likes is transplanted to Chukka boots.
Although these are boots, my feeling is that a pair of double strap monks, and then a piece suede leather is attached on the shank, which is very distinctive and won’t be troublesome to put on and take off.
Every brand has penny loafer, but this pair has a distinctive hollow shape on the strap, and I like the sewing method of the upper.
There are quite a lot of design elements in this pair of shoes, and the most conspicuous one is definitely the peach line at the lower part of the shoelace. And austerity brogue.
Please ignore this perforated leather. I can’t buy in it. With black plain calfskin, this pair of double buckle monk is absolutely subversive!
For splicing, I always have a special fascination with it and feel that it has completely opened up a new world. This one looks like a wholecut oxford, but the quarter in suede is absolutely upscale.
