French business is very interesting, either the best of the best, in shoemaking industry, Aubercy, Berluti and Corthay seize the throne, or the best value in the whole world, such as Septieme Largeur. Finsbury chooses the latter one.
Why does the name not speak French? Because the founders Frenchman Jean-Pierre Dahan and Englishman David Cohen built this brand in Northampton, England in 1986, the concept is to offer extreme value, Goodyear welted shoes under 1000 Franc.
The current owner, Arnaud Bruillon joined the company as a sales, after two founders retired, he took over.
The shoes are made in Europe but not Northampton any more.
There are five collections: Classic, Latina, Vendome, Tradizione and Casual.
Latina charges 210 Euro with Blake construction, Vendome and Classic are mid-range for 250 Euro with Goodyear construction. Tradizione is top for 320 Euro.
Let us check its models.
Remark
Most shoes are French and Italian flavor, not my dish.
