ACME may be the most well known Chinese shoemaker/brand in the world, and it is the private label of select shoe shop Medallion. ACME is highly praised for its superb craftsmanship, and even the best shoe blogger, Jesper Ingevaldsson told me he is so eager to pay a visit to ACME workshop if he comes to China.
Many insiders pay due respect to ACME as it dares to match the price of western brands when Made in China is regarded cheap by default.
ACME’s first collection starts from 9000 RMB, and they released a new collection called Marvel which you can take home with 5000 RMB.
Let us have a look at its models, as same model can appear in both collections, I don’t distinguish them.

If you care craftsmanship the most, at the same price, you can never have a better pair than ACME.
From brand perspective, ACME is more like a MTO service provider and offers great products and value, but signature models are yet to realize. Another thing is no matter the lasts or patterns, inspiration from other brands are very obvious, ACME needs to create its own.
